West London city break - Kinghtsbridge

The clients, M and S, say ‘Great job Graham, now we have somewhere nice to have a Gin & Tonic! ’

We Say - real challenge in a lot of ways this project. The clients were very clear about what they wanted and the overall look the finished garden should have.

The paving chosen was a lovely cream coloured sawn sandstone, laid in a square pattern, linear style.

First we had to excavate tons of concrete from beneath the foundations of the area for the beds. It was so deep we had to bring in large concrete breakers to get through it.Then we set about bringing in all the Olive trees and clipped Box which we planted in a topsoil/ compost mix.

Large framed Photinia 'red robin' adorned the back fence against hardwoord panels interplanted with Alliums and Agapanthus. We had the bespoke hardwood seating made in our workshop to match in with the Meranti lateral trellis installed around the newly built brick walls. Meranti has a beautiful natural grain and colour and was perfect for the modern feel we sought.

Finally a watering system and lighting were installed.
